EDIE LYCKE | FOUNDER

Edie Lycke was an immense catalyst for the growth of lacrosse in North Texas. Her passion for the sport began with her daughter's playing days at The Hockaday School. The formation of Bridge Lacrosse Dallas began with the US Lacrosse initiative to diversify and grow the game in under-resourced areas of the nation. Bridge Lacrosse began with programming in 2004, primarily out of St. Philip's and Irma Rangel YWLS. In 2008, Bridge Lacrosse reincorporated from the previous organization of Friends of North Texas. Edie's contagious passion for Bridge and serving the community through such a unique sport has spread to what is now the Bridge Lacrosse we see today. Edie currently resides in California with her husband, Beau, where she remains an important pillar to her new west coast community and the community she served for so long here in Dallas.
